Which course is best for air hostesses?
Eligibility Criteria:
Aspirants who seek admission in the Air Hostess program after class 12 there are certain eligibility criteria. They are –
Academic Requirements: Aspirants must pass 10+2 education (in any streams) from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The candidate must be fluent in English, Hindi, or other regional languages.
Age and Marital Status: The age of the aspirants should be between 17 – 26 years. Many aviation companies prefer unmarried girls.
Physical Standards: The minimum height should be a minimum of 157 cm or 5’2 inches. The body weight should be proportionate to the height and the complexion should be clear to fair.
Medical Requirements: The aspirant should be mentally sound and have no past mental illness recorded. The aspirant should pass far and near vision with at least 20/40 glass and a hearing test.
Skills Required:
An Air Hostess after qualifying the above criteria must have the following skills to perform their job under any circumstances. They are as follows –
- Body Language: Confident, calm and composed demeanor all time long also during emergency situations like air turbulence or mechanical problems.
- Customer Handling: A team worker and must possess problem-solving skills also emergencies situation. They should be emphatic towards all passengers.
- Communication Skills: They must be professional and should be open to all cultural diversity.
- Appearance and Postures: They must be physically fit to handle longer shifts and heavy tasks.

How do I apply for air hostess?
Apply for a job and the airline will recruit the right candidate by conducting a selection process. This includes PAT (Aptitude Test), GD (Group Dynamics) written tests, and face-to-face interviews. If the aspirant clears the first stage then he has to appear for the training process.
Airlines will train for include customer service, safety procedures, technical know-how, aircraft rules and laws, emergency training, and aircraft acquaintance.
